Patrick Michael Monaghan, passed away on December 1, 2017 at the age of 63 in Hutchinson, KS after a long battle with cancer. Born in Enid, OK and raised in Dodge City, KS; he was a 1972 graduate of Dodge City High School. He earned his Associates Degree from Seward County Community College while working at Tradewind Industries. In 1975 he began working for Snap-On tools where he developed an overwhelming love for tools. From Snap-on he moved onto Boeing of Wichita where he worked for nearly 27 yrs starting out as a Mechanic and working his way up to a Maintenance Supervisor before retiring in 2005. Since Boeing Patrick was an employee of Siemen Energy in Hutchinson, KS and most recently a retiree of Purina in Wichita, KS.
He is preceded in death by: his parents Charles & Margaret Monaghan, sister Sharon Monaghan and Aunts Patricia Brennan & Mary Roger Brennan.
He is survived by his Pretty Lady, Misti Bryant, six children & eleven grandchildren. Shonda (Scott) Thomason of Warrensburg, MO, Duana (Darren) Barker, Andria Monaghan (Dustin Apel), Brenden Monaghan and their mom Kelley Monaghan all of Augusta, Alexis Lemieux, Joseph Lemieux of Hutchinson; brothers Kevin (Carol) Monaghan, Shawn (Greg) Monaghan, Tom Monaghan, Stacey Monaghan, sister Sheila Monaghan and sister-in-law Cathie Cannon. Along with many loving nieces, nephews, family, friends and last but not least his beloved pups Mater & Tater.
