Rebecca Louise Valentine, 66, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away surrounded
by her family February 22, 2019 at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas. The
daughter of Palmer and Betty Mae Welch, she was born on August 24, 1952 in
Hutchinson, Kansas.

She retired after 16 years of service as laundry supervisor
for Buhler Sunshine Home in Buhler, Kansas.
She loved gardening, both flowers and vegetables and had the magic touch of
making all flowers look full of life and vibrant. To her family, particularly, her
grandchildren, she was the best grandma ever.

She was married to Alva Melvin Valentine and he preceded her in death in 2016.
Survivors include 1 son, Matthew McElheny; 2 daughters, Melanie (Kevin)
Dilbeck, and, Melissa Valentine; 1 sister, Kay Moore; 11 grandchildren. She was
preceded in death by her parents.

Per her request cremation has taken place along with her guard dog, Wesley,
and a celebration of life will take place at a later date.
