Riley W. Withrow, 74, went home to be with our Lord, October 13, 2021, at Hospice House.  He was born March 1, 1947 in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Riley served in the United States Naval Reserve 1964 to 1967, Active Duty, Vietnam, 1967- 1969.  He received an Honorable Discharge with Combat Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and National Defense Medal.  Riley was very proud to have served his country.

Riley worked in construction in Colorado and Kansas, then as a Computer Draftsman at Haven Steel and Superior Boiler Works Inc.  When he retired, with a service heart, he started substitute teaching with USD #308.  He volunteered as a Rosary leader.

Riley's first love was music.  He played music from early adolescense throughout his lifetime, including bands and sharing his talent anywhere he could.

On January 27, 1989, he married Kathleen Marie Berning, in Hutchinson, Kansas.

Riley is survived by his wife Kathleen; sons, Ryan William and Anthony Charles of Hutchinson; granddaughter, Aurora Jade ( Ryan); brother Michael Dean ( Cindy) of Washington; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by parents, Riley Harold Withrow and Maxine Thelma Myers; sisters, Lenda Jeanette Bristow and Deborah Dee ( Thomas ) McIntire.

A Rosary at 9:30 a.m. will be held on October 25, 2021 at Our Lady Of Guadalupe, 612 South Maple, South Hutchinson, Kansas, with Mass starting at 10:00 a.m., burial to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4th Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
