Robert L. Miller, 85, passed away peacefully at his home in Hutchinson, KS., on March 17, 2026. Born in Torrington, Wyoming, on August 16, 1940, to George and Edna Miller. Robert lived a full and happy life.

After graduating from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Robert spent many years as a manager at the Farmland Industries plant in Hutchinson. He later managed Millrose Ceramic Arts, a local family owned business in Hutchinson, that he operated with his wife, Sharon, and her sisters.

In the skies, Robert found freedom as a private pilot; on the ground, he took great joy in the simple pleasures of retirement. He was a familiar and active presence in his neighborhood, whether out for a bike ride or taking a long walk. He took immense pride in his home, spent countless hours gardening, and found peace tending to his backyard pond.

Robert was preceded in death by his beloved wife and partner in all things, Sharon. His legacy lives on through his three children: William Miller, Lisa J. Davies, and Rozann (Douglas) Vibbert; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and extended family.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date
