Robert "Bob" Harvey Mizell was born in Norton, KS in 1943 to Lysle and Doris Mizell.  He passed away at the age of 80 on December 12th, 2024. He passed away of heart failure at the place he loved the most, his farm. He was a Veteran serving in Vietnam along with being a loving brother, husband, father and grandfather. He will be succeeded in life by his five siblings Roberta McAllister, Carolyn Linsenmeyer, Lester Mizell, Ray Mizell and Patty Foster; two sons, Marcus and Michael; and two grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his father, Lysle Mizell; sister, Connie Lillich, née Mizell; mother, Doris Mizell, née Adams; and wife, Diane Dorthy Mizell  née Doctor. Bob will be laid to rest in Wildmead Cemetery in Nickerson, KS next to his wife, Diane.

On January 2, 2025, a short memorial service immediately followed by a Celebration of Life for Bob will be held from 1 - 4 PM at the Nickerson Community center, located at 11 N Nickerson St, Nickerson, KS 67561. All are welcome to attend. Snacks and beverages will be provided.
