Robert L. Pina, 82, of Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away December 21, 2019 at Hospice House of Reno County, Hutchinson, Kansas.  A life resident of Hutchinson, Kansas, he was born June 20, 1937, the son of Marcelino and Guadalupe Pina.  He was a retired employee of the City of Hutchinson, having worked for years as a dedicated employee of the Street Department.

He was a dedicated musician- he loved jazz, but had a passion for Santana and Jimi Hendrix.  He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church and Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Hutchinson.  His family was the center of his life- his family looked at him as a 'legend.'

Survivors include: one son, Roberto; two daughters, Keri ( Antron) and Adelaide ( Shannon ); one brother, Eddie; two sisters, Elisa and Lupe; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; 37 nieces and nephews, and hundreds of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Tristan, three sisters and two brothers.

A reading of the rosary will take place Friday, January 17, 2020 at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, South Hutchinson, Kansas.  A life celebration mass will be held Saturday, January 18, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the church as well.
