Robert Orin Wheeler passed away March 30, 2011 in Andover, KS, at the age of 69. He was born November 3, 1941 in Eureka, KS to Orin Phillip and Maude Viola (Tatman) Wheeler. He was a retired foreman for Dillion's and an Army National Guard Veteran. Robert was also an avid Chief's fan, enjoyed camping, visiting Branson, and walking his dog, Lucy. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Phyllis "Jeannie" Hassler, Joyce Diane and Carol Ann; and a grandson, Christopher Copeland.
He leaves behind to mourn his passing; wife, Carol of the home; two daughters, Denise (Rex) Nall and Susan (Delbert) Kaiser all of Hutchinson, KS; two brothers, James (Ann) Wheeler and Charles (Pam) Wheeler both of Hutchinson, KS; 6 grandchildren, Delaena and Tanner Nall, Marquel Harper, Shawn Davis, Matthew Copeland and Kyler Kaiser. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 1:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. with the family present from 2:00p.m. - 3:00p.m. Funeral Services will begin at 2:30p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2011 at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home and Cremation Services Chapel. Burial will follow with Military Honors at Fairlawn Cemetery in Hutchinson, KS.
