Rodney Dean Guern, 46, passed away March 30, 2013 at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born October 3, 1966, the son of Carl and Lois Guern. He attended Hutchinson Schools and was an auto mechanic by trade. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing, and listening to country music.

He is survived by 2 brothers, Jeffrey Guern and Robert Guern, both of Hutchinson, 1 sister, Linda Hinojos of Hutchinson and a grandson, Anthony. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Brenda, and a son, Chris.

Cremation has taken place. The family will hold a public visitation which will be announced at a later date. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, that memorial gifts be made to Hospice of Reno County or the Reno County Animal Shelter. They may be left in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, Hutchinson, Kansas.
