Obituary

Ronald Lee Marker, 78, passed away May 9, 2018 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born in Great Bend, Kansas on September 30, 1939, the son of William and Christina Marker. He was the owner and operator of Marker European Auto Service in Hutchinson, Kansas.
A dedicated husband, father and grandfather he was known as the President of the House. He loved to go fishing with his family, enjoyed listening to Elvis Presley in the shop while he worked, and in earlier days enjoyed hunting.
On August 27, 1963 he married Karen Sue McGinty in Las Vegas, Nevada. She survives.
Other survivors include: 1 son Brian (Dee Dee) Marker of Hutchinson, Kansas; 4 daughters, Karla (Wes) Dolatta of Rose Hill, Kansas, Kristy Marker of Wichita, Tricia Marker of Wichita, Nicole (Jerry) Dick of Hutchinson; 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.
Per his request cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Reno County, Kansas and left in care of the funeral home.
