On November 25th 1943 in Hutchinson, Kansas Heaven unleashed Rosalie Ann Waters upon the earth and on September 6th 2026 Heaven reclaimed her. While here she left her indelible mark for all of us to enjoy and remember her by. She was kind, sweet spirited, friendly, spiritual, and extremely talented. There are not enough words to fully describe all her positive traits. It seems she left her positive influence on everyone she met.

On March 14th 1964 she married David Glenn Waters in Hutchinson. They were together until his passing in November of 2022. Together they had 3 children, Michael, Shelly, and Sarah. Family was everything to Rosalie. Every week she lovingly hosted family night, where everyone would get together for a big dinner and play games. Her mother, Maxine, grandkids, Katherine, Dustin, Rebecca, Samantha, even the family pets were welcome.

Rosalie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She had many callings and was always working on projects for the church. She worked diligently searching her family's genealogy, tracing it back hundreds of years and generations. She also helped other people trace theirs.

Rosalie was a very gifted artist. She spent almost all of her time creating artwork of some kind. She was always lending her talents to businesses and organizations. She also taught her craft and worked many years at the Kansas State Fair Fine Arts building. One of her favorite activities was working for the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts, where she gained a great reputation for her creativity and leadership skills.

Music was one of Rosalie's greatest loves which strongly spreads throughout her family, creating some renowned musicians as a result. She loved attending events and many times would travel great distances including Mexico and Canada to see a show.

Rosalie Waters was greatly loved and will be missed dearly. Our loss is Heaven's gain and right now she is reaping eternal rewards for her immense work and service throughout her life.

Rosalie is survived by her son, Michael Waters, daughter, Sarah White (Jeff), and grandchildren, Katherine Chacon (Paul), Dustin White (Kaitlyn), Rebecca Howell (Alex), Samantha Borrowman (Levi), and great-grandchildren Jacob and Cole White, Natalie, Brody, Walter, Eleanora Howell, and Bailey Borrowman, and baby brother who is due to arrive any time. She is preceded in death by parents, Harold and Maxine Wyatt, husband, David Waters, and daughter, Shelly Waters.

A service will take place at 1:00pm on Friday, September 11th at Old Mission Heritage.
