Ruth Ann Thrasher, born to Clark Day and Orba Jacobs of Nashville, KS, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, in Hutchinson, KS.

She is preceded in death by both parents, Clark and Orba, and her brother in law, Jim Morris.

Ruth is survived by her loving husband, David, of 53 years, sister, Mary Day Morris, her son John (Holly) Thrasher, daughter, Sarah (Casey) Borrowman, and three grandchildren, Maggie and Jacob Thrasher, and Ryder Borrowman.

Ruth grew up in Attica, Kansas, but lived all over with her husband David. Together they made a home in Arlington, KS and Cunningham, KS. Ruth was a devoted member of the Methodist Church in both communities.

She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking family photographs, and being with her grandkids. She was also an avid gardener and could always be found tending to her flowers- particularly her roses.

Those who knew Ruth understand that there was so much more to her life than this brief description; she will be forever loved and missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested any donations be made to Alzheimer's/Dementia research organizations.
