Sally Jane Viegra, 84, of South Hutchinson, Kansas, passed away September 26, 2020 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas.  Sally was born June 27, 1936 in Dodge City, Kansas, to Delfino and Ruth ( Olivarez) Frias.  She was a dedicated homemaker for her family.

A resident of South Hutchinson, Kansas since 1967, she enjoyed cooking, reading, and watching her favorite sports - the Kansas City Chiefs, Kansas Jayhawks, and Kansas City Royals. She was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and the Altar Society.

On November 17, 1956, she married Alexander Viegra in Springfield, Colorado.  He survives of the home.

Other survivors include Valarie ( Tim) Reeves, David Viegra, Rosalyn McGillivray ( Chris Vieyra ), and Elizabeth Dauber; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Rosary prayer service will be held Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place Friday, October 2, 2020 at 10:30 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 612 South Maple, South Hutchinson, Kansas.  Burial will follow at Fairlawn Burial Park, 2401 Carey Boulevard, Hutchinson, Kansas.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church and left in care of the funeral home.
