Sharon Gean Rowden, 65, passed away September 28, 2018 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Picher, Oklahoma on December 12, 1952, the daughter of Leslie and Lula Rowden. She was a dedicated homemaker for her family.
She was an avid gardener, master cook, and loved arts and crafts, especially sewing and crochet. Sharon obtained her GED and went on to complete her associate's degree in cosmetology. She loved Willie Nelson, and had all of his record album covers displayed throughout her home. However, her family and especially her grandchildren were the main focus of her life.
Survivors include 2 sons, Chuckie Dunlap and Jack Davidson; 1 daughter, Tonya (Jared) Gano; 3 sisters, Vickie (Doug) Patterson, Cynthia (Chuck) George, Jodi (Coyne) Cooprider; numerous step and half siblings; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, 1 brother, Neil, 1 granddaughter, Sharon.
A graveside celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Park Cemetery, 5905 W. 4 ^th , Hutchinson, Kansas with a time of sharing stories and eating lunch to follow at 2:00 pm Rice Park Community Building.
