Shawna Jolie Conner, 17, of Haven, Kansas, earned her angel wings January 23, 2020, at her home in Haven, Kansas.  Born April 16, 2002 in Claremore, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Shawn and Janis Conner.  She attended Haven High School, Haven, Kansas.

Shawna loved children and animals - she wanted to bring home animals and start her own zoo for children to enjoy.  She always had her phone in her hand taking " selfies " as often as possible to capture each and every moment.  She was a talented artist and attention to the details in her creative drawing impressed anyone who observed her work.  Most of all she loved her family and treated her close friends like a part of her family.

She is survived by her parents, Shawn and Janis;2 brothers, Bradley Rodriquez, Joshua ( Trisha ) Miller; 1 sister, Jenna Conner; 1 niece, Eliza Miller; grandparents, Mary Ann " Baker" Conner, Robert Charles " Chuck "  ( Donelle ) Conner, Sr.; Mike Rodriquez; great grandmother, Ruth Petering; multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Michael Ray Miller, 1 grandmother, Janice Sue Rodriquez, great grandparents, Patty Ackerman, Josie Rodriquez, Victor Rodriquez, Dorothy " Baker" Faulkner, William K. Baker, and Minnie Titus.

A come and go celebration of life will be held Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.  at the Haven Community Building, 215 S. Reno, Haven, Kansas.  Food and refreshments will be provided for all family and friends - please come and share your stories.
