Sheldon L. Boone, brother, nephew, uncle, and friend to so many, passed away to be with the Father on December 15, 2019.  Sheldon was born June 9, 1964 in Hutchinson, Kansas.  His parents preceded him in death: Carol A. Scott and Daniel S. Boone.

Sheldon was a graduate of Hutchinson High School in 1982 and attended classes at Hutchinson Community Junior College.  He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and also a member of the Adult Choir until illness caused him to step down.  Sheldon was a veteran of the United States Army.  He liked to play dominoes and to fish.

Survivors include two brothers: Christopher T. Boone ( Laura) and Cameron F. Scott, both of Hutchinson, Kansas; step-father, Everette Scott from Colorado; his aunts, Georgia Mounts, Mary Alice Reynolds, Patricia Biddle, all of Hutchinson, Kansas, Laura Sinclair, from New York, and Cheryl Burr ( Danny) from Massachusetts; his uncles, Robert Bracey ( Deborah) from St. Louis, Missouri, and Michael Bracey ( Maria) from Chicago, Illinois; beloved nephew, Daniel Boone; nieces Erica Best, and Bianca Kunzinger, both of Hutchinson, Kansas; 2 great nieces, Jaiden Best and Catalpa Neufeld; 1 great nephew, Saio Neufeld, all of Hutchinson, Kansas; and special friend Londa Tipton of Hutchinson, Kansas; and numerous cousins and friends.

Celebration of Life will be held January 11, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1015 East 7th Street, Hutchinson, Kansas, with Reverend William J. Green, Sr. presiding.  In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, 1015 East 7th Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
