Shirley Hauschild, 84, died May 3, 2019, a lifelong Hutchinson resident. She is survived by: her loving husband of 66 years, Kenneth; children, Charlotte (Jim) Giesel, Curt Hauschild, Craig (Dayna) Hauschild; five grandchildren, Casey Hauschild, Daisy Friesen, Ginger Coyle, Jessica Hauschild, and Nathan Hauschild; eleven great-grandchildren; sister, Ruby Parks; many nieces and nephews.

She had a big heart for family, never met a stranger, generous with her love and laughter, and cherished her faith in God. She was a member of South Hutchinson United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Michael and David; her parents, Leroy and Viola Newburn; sisters and brothers, Opal Kroeker, Lee Newburn, Ruth Parks, and Don Newburn.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. A gathering with the family present will take place one hour prior to the celebration. Memorials may be made to Kindred Hospice of Hutchison, Kansas, 120 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas.
