Stacy Alan Base, 55, passed away peacefully with his wife at his side, into the arms of his Lord, on March 31, 2022 at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born on October 25, 1966 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the son of Duane and Mary ( Goertzen) Base.
Stacy graduated from Hutchinson High School in 1985. Stacy worked for Dillon's Warehouse refrigeration foods for 13 years, where he made numerous friends that he considered extended family. Stacy's favorite things to do were spending as much time with his grandkids as possible. Watching or attending Nascar, and concerts. Music was a big part of his life. He was a walking encyclopedia when it came to sports history and facts.
He is survived by his wife Dee (Tissue) ( Stucky) Base; sister, Shelly ( Randy) Berner; daughter, Alisha ( Jeremy) Lucerro; step-daughter, Maegan ( Cody) Lobban; step-son, Bryce Stucky; grandchildren, Crevan and Killian Lucerro; step-grandchildren, Keller and Jace Lobban; first wife, Dana (Diggs) Blanton.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Amy; grandparents, father-in-law, Kevin Starks.
Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Reno County in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas 67501.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
