Stanley Eugene Hoschouer, 67, of Nickerson, Kansas, passed away on April 17, 2026, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

He was born on January 29th, 1959, in Franklin, Nebraska, to Everett and Joyce Hoschouer. He grew up in Nickerson, Kansas, and attended Nickerson schools from elementary through high school. He attended trade school for brick laying in Topeka, Kansas.

On June 2nd, 1979, Stan married the love of his life, Kayelene McCarty. Stan retired from Central Prairie Coop, where he worked as a sprayer operator for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to the races and made the absolute best cookies. Above all, he enjoyed spending time with his wife and supporting his children and grandchildren. He made it to every sporting event, concert, dance recital, and graduation.

He is survived by his wife Kayelene; his children Jami King, April Hoschouer (Dusty), and Bubba Hoschouer (Amanda); grandchildren Megan King, Malaki Miller, Jailyn Miller (Trevan), Adilynne Hoschouer, and Kamerin Hoschouer; great-grandson Brady; sibling Shawna Hoschouer; nieces Darlene Hoschouer-Mower (Jared, Kaiden, and Aubrey), Saluda Geist (Rodney), and Melissa Fox; and nephew Steve Hoschouer Jr. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Steve Hoschouer, and his aunts Joan Hoschouer and Bev Herron.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
