Suellen Louise Kimzey Beeler, 71, passed away surrounded by her family March 4, 2018, at her home in Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born October 14, 1946 in Hutchinson, Kansas, the daughter of Kenneth and Mary Kimzey. She was a retired casino cashier having returned to Kansas from Las Vegas in 2013.
She was a diehard NASCAR fan and fancied Harley-Davidson motorcycles. She loved taking care of her animals while watching old fashion black and white movies on television. She fueled her competitive edge by spending years in competitive bowling leagues.
She is survived by 1 son, Kenny York; 3 daughters, Mary Moore, Michelle (Jeff) Herron, Barbara Youngblood; 1 sister, Sarah Cox; 15 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Guy and Kenneth Kimzey.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 10, 2018 at 2:00pm at the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, 518 E. 43 rd , Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to The Wounded Warrior Project and left in care of Old Mission – Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
