Obituary

Theodore (Ted) Nieciecki, 79, passed away August 16, 2011, at Hospice House, Hutchinson. He was born April 14, 1932 in East St. Louis, IL. He moved to Hutchinson in the early 1970''s.
Ted served in the Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated several restaurants in the area during his time in Hutchinson. He also owned Luxury Kitchen and Bath and was partners with Don Dolechek in "The Cabinet Guys."
He married Dessia in 1970. She preceded him in death in 2007. He is survived by Dixie Nieciecki (Snapp) who he married in 2008. He was also preceded in death by a great granddaughter, Caitlyn Mackenzie, who died in 2007.
Other survivors include: daughters Patty (Dan) Raynor, Granite City, IL; Nancy (David) Kelly, Southport, NC; Teddy (Ralph "Doc") Gingerich and Kylee Swain, Hutchinson; grandchildren Teresa, Eric, David, Kelsey, Zachary; Kari (Clint) Brewer; and Anne (Jason) Downing; and five great grandchildren: Memphis, Karson, Jersey, Drayton, and Miles.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be on Monday, August 22nd, with a rosary at 9:30am and Mass at 10am at St. Theresa''s Catholic Church, Hutchinson. Memorials may be sent in his honor to Hospice of Reno County.
