Thomas F Blanton, 71, passed away peacefully Sunday, June 23rd, 2024, at home with his wife, daughter and granddaughter at his side. Thomas was the first of seven children, born October 13, 1952, in Healdton, Oklahoma to Jimmie and Treeta (Cole) Blanton. On December 21, 1979, Tom married the love of his life, Kathi Ingalls. Family was very important to Tom, attending every Cole family reunion. Tom enjoyed working in his yard, his garage and maintaining his truck. He loved playing games on his iPad and spending time with his grandchildren. Tom worked at Midwest Iron & Metal for 27 years combined.

Tom is preceded in death by his grandparents, parents, brothers, Danny Ray, Jarron, Calvin and David Blanton, as well as a daughter, Lynna Jeane Corley-Thompson.

Survivors include his wife, Kathi, sisters Judy (Richard) Yingling, Treeveala (Ralph Reed) Blanton, daughter Teresa (James) Dean, granddaughters, Tori (Josh) Main, Haeleigh, and Camiel Hilyard, grandson, Caspian Kessler, and 10 great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Hutchinson Animal Shelter, as Tom loved his rescues, Bobby, Barker, Ana and Daisy.

The family would also like to send a special thanks to Enhabit Home Health and Hospice, the multiple medical supply employees and the Hutchinson Fire Department for showing up to help us get him back in bed each time he tried to run away. He was ornery until the end, and he loved you all.
