Thomas Wayne Kornelson, 56, passed away November 7, 2015 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. A native of Hutchinson, he was born May 16, 1959, the son of Waymen and Marna Kornelson.

He attended Hutchinson schools, enjoyed the thrill of casinos, and loved a wide variety of music. Even though he was disabled, his perseverance for living life to the fullest and setting a good example for his family were his main attributes.

Survivors include 2 sons Jeremy (Samantha) and Grady; 1 daughter, Jennifer, all of Hutchinson; 2 sisters, Toby (Ernie) Mendoza of South Hutchinson, and, Toni Parker of Hutchinson; 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Per his request cremation has taken place. A graveside celebration of life will be held Friday, November 13, 2015 at 11:00 am at Fairlawn Cemetery Mausoleum , Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial gifts be made to the American Kidney Foundation and left in care of the funeral home.
