Troy Brandon Meitler, 48, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, Tuesday, January 16, 2018. He was born October 5, 1969 in Great Bend, Kansas, where he lived and worked in concrete construction.

He was a member of The Father''s House Church in Hutchinson, Kansas. Troy had a loving family, enjoyed cat fishing, and spending time with his grandkids. He was so proud of his children and grandchildren and will be missed dearly by many.

Survivors include his mother, Judi Fry; his father Dick (Cindy) Meitler; his wife, Shelly Meitler; 2 sons, Stepphen Meitler, Sheldon (Becca) Meitler; 2 grandchildren, Rylie and Rein Meitler; 2 brothers, Shane and Trevor (Angie) Meitler; 1 sister, Amy (Raymond) Gier; a niece, Audrianna Bender; and numerous other family members. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Larry Meitler, and, 1 sister, Karen Bender.

A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 26, 2018 at 11:30 am at The Father''s House, 1505 E. 20th, Hutchinson, Kansas. Graveside services will be at 4:00 pm at the Great Bend Cemetery, 4500 Broadway Avenue, Great Bend, Kansas. Memorials may be sent to Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas.
