Vera Faye Gulick Thomas, 80, passed away surrounded by her family on January 30, 2019 at Mennonite Friendship Communities, South Hutchinson, Kansas. She was born in Alden, Kansas on December 8, 1938, the daughter of Ben and Helen Elliott.

A retired field representative of Kansas Gas Services, she loved to go camping and fishing. She was a remarkable seamstress and always had a project going. Taking care of her family was her main goal in life.

Survivors include 3 sons, Steve and Allen Gulick of Hutchison, Kansas, and Robert,  Gulick of Nickerson, Kansas; 2 sisters Norma Goertzen and Nina Fox; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; friends and acquaintances from Mennonite Friendship Communities. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Ray and Dink, and 1 sister, Evelyn.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Friday, February 8, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. at Mennonite Friendship Communities Chapel, 600 W. Blanchard, South Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Mennonite Friendship Communities.
