Victor Herman Kaufman, 97, passed away May 3, 2022 at Pine Village Retirement Home, Moundridge, Kansas.

Victor H. Kaufman was born to Albert Kaufman and Anna Graber on February 19, 1925 in Pretty Prairie, Kansas.  He was raised on a farm and loved hunting and fishing.  He also loved horses and learned the meaning of hard work.

On December 21, 1947 he married Joan Hanselman in Burrton, Kansas.  Their marriage lasted over 71 years.

This union resulted in the birth of four children:

Billy R. Kaufman
Gary L. Kaufman
Vickie E. Hurd
Michael E. Kaufman

Victor was one of nine children.  Victor was the last one to pass away of the nine kids and parents.

We also lost our youngest brother Michael and wife Delinda in a accident.

The union of Vic and Joan also produced seven grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Victor loved unconditionally and treated everyone with respect and honesty.  He was a gentleman and hard worker.

Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place at a later date.

There will be a book signing on May 11, 2022 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 North Main Street, Hutchinson, Kansas
