Victoria Befort, 100, passed away August 20, 2022, at her home in Great Bend. She was born on a farm near Pfeifer, Kansas on September 20, 1921, to Joseph and Margaret (Urban) Breit. The family moved to a farm near Loretto, Kansas before she started her elementary school education. She married Tony Befort on March 5, 1946 and the couple moved to Great Bend and became lifelong residents. Survivors include her son, Leland; daughter, Rhonda; son-in-law, Gary; grandson, Taylor (Katie) and great grand daughter, Ellie. Victoria was preceded in death by her husband Tony. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church for over 75 years. In her later years, she loved to have lunch with her friends at the Great Bend Senior Center, and then spend the afternoon playing cards and laughing a lot. For over a century, she shared with everyone the love and joy that filled her heart. Memorial contributions should be made out to Great Bend Senior Center and mailed to 2005 Kansas Ave, Great Bend, KS 67530. Funeral services are pending and will be announced at a later date.
