Wanda Clarine (Adkins) Boyer, was born to George W and Eliza Pauline (McKenney) Adkins on June 22, 1930 in Ohio County, Kentucky. She died July 31, 2014 at the age of 84 in Hutchinson, Ks.. Wanda was a retired clerk from Fraese Drug and also worked as a binder for Mutual Press. She was a member of First Baptist Church and the American Legion Ladies Auxillary Post 68. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Charles R. and Richard L. Adkins; 2 sisters, Laurie Chasey and Betty Cadry .
Wanda is survived by her husband, Kenneth Boyer of 66 yrs; her children, Richard A. Boyer of Olathe, KS., Carol A. (Rod) Frederick of Wichita, KS ,Robbie J. (Susan) Boyer of Colorado Springs, CO., Kenneth E. (Annette) Boyer, Jr. of South Hutchinson, KS., Mark E. (Lynne) Boyer of Fayetteville, AR., and .; 13 Grandchildren, 22 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the First Baptist Church, 800 N. Main St., Hutchinson, Kansas at 10:30 a.m.. In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established with First Baptist Church, Hospice House or Mennonite Manor. Old Mission-Heritage entrusted with arrangements.
