Wanda F. Mashburn Kaufman, 95, passed away December 12, 2014 at Mennonite Friendship Manor in South Hutchinson, Kansas. Born in Durant, Oklahoma on July 7, 1919, she was the daughter of Fred and Mary Ellen Mashburn. She was a homemaker.
She had a passion for cooking and also was a meticulous seamstress. The passion in her life was taking care of her family.
She married Fred Kaufman on March 6, 1947 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He died on August 22, 2013.
Other survivors include 2 sons, Fred Kaufman, Jr. (Juanita) and Ronald C. Kaufman (Linda); 2 daughters, Patti Jean Crouse (Doug) and Sue Mason (Fred); 17 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and her oldest daughter, Gail Taves.
A celebration of life will be December 19, 2014 at 1:30pm at the Mennonite Friendship Manor 600 W. Blanchard, South Hutchinson, Kansas. Burial will take place at Fairlawn Cemetery. A memorial fund in the name of Wanda F. Mashburn Kaufman has been established and gifts may be made to Mennonite Friendship Manor.
