Obituary
Wendell L. Hicks, III, 27, passed away November 11, 2016, in Hutchinson, KS. The son of Kim Williams and Wendell Hicks, Jr. He was born November 28, 1988 in Hutchinson.
Wendell had a passion for fishing, dropping a fishing line whenever and wherever he could. Other passions include tinkering with cars, home remodeling and spending time with family.
Survivors include his mother Kim and stepfather, Danny Williams, father, Wendell Jr., stepmother Angela Hicks, and his dog Karma Ann Hicks, whom he treated like a daughter! Brothers, Jeffrey Williams, Devin Ford, Lucas Yehle. Sisters, Brandi (Kyle) Belveal, Jessica (David) Beer, Brandee (David) McGrael, Alysha Williams, Taylor Ford, Ashley Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, sisters, Rose and Elizabeth Hicks and a nephew Hayden Beer.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Wendell on Friday, November 18, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. at Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main St., Hutchinson, KS.
In lieu of flowers, gifts can be made to Cause for Paws and left in care of the funeral home. Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
