Wesley White was born in Herington, KS, to Ward and Florence White, September 9, 1952. He passed away December 31, 2023, at his home in Hutchinson, KS, surrounded by family.
Wesley is preceded in death by his father, Ward White.
He is survived by his mother, Florence, sister, Cynthia Mowat, his wife of 22 years, Sharon White, sons, Jason (Rhonda) White, Jake (Megan) White, stepdaughter, Barbie (Scott) Bontrager, 11 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and his favorite child, Zoe the papillon.
Wesley retired from the BNSF Railroad in 2012, after 42 years. Outside of work, Wesley was an avid fisherman. You could always find him in a boat, or hanging out at the lake with friends. He enjoyed spending time with his family, staying home and watching the Chiefs.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hickory Creek Clubhouse, 1238 North Hickory Creek St, Wichita, KS this Saturday, January 6. Friends and family are encouraged to stop by between 11-2. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Victory In the Valley and Reno County Cancer Council, in care of Old Mission-Heritage Funeral Home.
