Willard C. Grissom passed away February 4, 2015 at 87, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. He was born April 22, 1927, the son of John and Goldie Grissom. He was a retired heavy machine operator for Rice County, Kansas.

He loved baseball and enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed playing poker with friends and family. He was a member of the Church of God in Christ.

Survivors include 3 sons, Eugene, Cornelius, and, Richard; 4 daughters, Shirley, Teresa, Constance, and Traci; 17 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters.

A celebration of life will be Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 2:00 pm at the 2nd Baptist Church, 1008 N. Ford, Hutchinson, Kansas.
