Wilma Jean Green, 91, born May 19, 1928, the daughter of William C. and Margaret Morris passed away March 14, 2020, at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center.

She was a graduate of Hutchinson High School and Salt City Business College.  She later taught there.  She was also an employee of the City of Hutchinson for the Police / Fire Department as a dispatcher.  She was a longtime assistant and friend to Etta Stevens.  Wilma had a great love and passion for gardening with a good green thumb.  She was loved by anyone who crossed her path.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sherman Green; and her brother Bill ( Coss ) Morris.

She leaves behind to grieve:  two sons, Dene William Morris and Eugene William Morris;  four grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The family has requested a private interment at Eastside Cemetery, 500 South Cleveland, Hutchinson, Kansas.
