Obituary

Windell W. Fallis, Sr., 77, passed away November 2, 2017 at Diversicare Health and Rehabilitation Center, Hutchinson, Kansas. The son of Russell and Etta Fallis, he was born January 21, 1940 in Hutchinson, Kansas. He was a retired 30 year employee from Morton Salt Company after having worked for Detroiter Mobile Homes for four years.

He loved working on classic cars especially his 1940 truck. He was a member of Union Valley Bible Church, was a veteran of the United States Army, and, loved to play bingo.

On March 3, 1961 he married the love of his life, Eunice Baxter, in Hutchinson, Kansas. Together they shared almost 57 years of marriage. She survives.

Other survivors include 3 daughters, Tammi Rowse, Debbie Martin, and, Lynn Dewbre; 1 son, Windell Fallis, Jr.; 8 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and, 3 half sisters.

A gathering for family and friends will be held Monday, November 6, 2017 from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at Old Mission - Heritage Funeral Home, 528 N. Main, Hutchinson, Kansas. Graveside celebration of life will take place Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Fairlawn Burial Park, Hutchinson, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial gifts be made to Union Valley Bible Church and left in care of the funeral home.
