Winford "Lee" Hammond, 65, passed away March 27, 2024, at Hospice House in Hutchinson. A lifelong resident of Hutchinson, he was born January 19, 1959 to James W Hammond and Frieda N Howe.
He loved to play video games and talk with people, friends and family, Lee never knew a stranger.
Survivors include three sisters, Donna Phipps, Sherry Hammond, Debbie Vance, brother Donald Werner, two nephews, Jason Vance, Kevin Calkins, and lots of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Frieda, sister, Phyllis Hammond, step sister, Cathy Calkins, and brother in law, Robert Vance.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. A graveside service will be held Friday April 19th, 1:00pm, at Fairlawn Burial Park in Hutchinson, Kansas.
